South Jakarta Opens Job Fair

The South Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department
will open another free job fair by presenting more than 8,000 vacancies. The
job fair is held for two days, precisely on Wednesday (11/5) until Thursday
(11/6) at the Nyi Ageng Serang Building, Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

"Job fair is one of the most effective programs in
labor absorption," said Head of South Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration
Sub-Department, Washington Siagian, Tuesday (11/4).
Siagian hoped the job seekers who live in Tebet, Setiabudi
and Mampang can flock the Nyi Ageng Serang building to apply their application
letter. "We open the job fair at 9 AM. There are 8,728 vacancies from 80
companies," he told.
The position is offered not only for college graduates, but
also senior high school or vocational school graduate. "Please come, we
provide many vacancies here. The vacancy is available for senior high school,
D3, S1, S2 with age up to a maximum of 45 years," he said.
According to him, the job fair aims to pressure the number
of unemployed in Jakarta, especially in South Jakarta in accordance with
Jakarta Provincial Government's policy. The job seeker will be placed in
various parts, starting from operator, administration, teller, cashier,
auditor, sales manager, supervisor, consultant and manager.

The job fair also serves processing service for a yellow
card (AK1). Until now, about 10 percent of 1.093,360 million people in South
Jakarta are still unemployed, while about 90 thousand job seekers have
processed yellow cards in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta.
